Choose a safe, accessible staging point
Use a location with enough room for staff and collection equipment to approach the pile. Keep vehicle paths clear and avoid staging tires where they obstruct exits, emergency access or active work areas.
If a gate, narrow drive, low overhead line or soft ground could affect access, share that information when scheduling. A site photo can help explain a layout when the service provider requests one.
Keep the load organized
Group tires so the approximate quantity and tire types are easy to review. Keep unrelated waste and loose debris out of the pile. If tires are unusually large, mounted, damaged or mixed with other materials, disclose that ahead of time and confirm handling.
Assign a staff member to point out the collection area and identify any tires that should remain on site. Clear markings can help avoid confusion when several piles are present.
Coordinate the visit
Confirm the pickup window, contact name and access instructions with the team. Let the service provider know if site conditions or the estimated load changes after booking.
After pickup, update your inventory or service log and retain the paperwork. If a location needs recurring service, those notes help establish a practical schedule.
